Happy Thanksgiving!
This morning, I took a moment to reflect on the year and thank God for His many blessings. How much we have to be grateful for! Let me share once again how much love and grace God has poured out on our church this year.
1. Adventurer & Pathfinder Ministries Launched
We started Adventurer and Pathfinder Ministries to help our children experience God’s love in a meaningful way. The Induction Ceremony was a truly special moment. Watching parents encourage their children as they committed their hearts to God was beautiful. I’m deeply grateful to Sam, Hazel, and the All Nations Missionaries for their dedication. Thanks to your commitment, All Nations kids experience joy every Sabbath at church.
2. Digital Mission Efforts
This year, we created a series of short videos for digital evangelism. Thank you to all members who participated and supported this initiative. Our prayers for our local community have made an impact, and I encourage us to continue dedicating ourselves to serving and reaching our neighbors.
3. Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Our VBS this year was the most exciting one! The children had a week filled with joy and fun at our church. I still remember what one child said to me: “Pastor, can we do VBS again next week?” Thank you to all the volunteers who made this a memorable experience for our kids.
4. Various Events
From Mother’s Day and International Pathfinder Day to the Pumpkin Patch outing and outdoor services, so many events went smoothly thanks to all your help. I look forward to creating even more memories in 2025!
5. LED Wall Installation
I’m especially grateful to Marcus for his financial dedication, which made the LED wall installation possible. Some of you may remember—I got a little too excited during the installation and fell from the ceiling! But I truly thank God. Despite the fall, I didn’t break any bones. As one church member said, “It felt like angels caught you as you fell.” The LED wall has made our church even more beautiful!
6. Baptisms
This year, four precious souls accepted Jesus as their personal Savior. Praise the Lord! Please continue to pray for them as they grow in faith and build a strong spiritual foundation in our church.
For some people, today may be a joyful celebration. For others, it may feel like a difficult day. Sometimes, life and Thanksgiving don’t always go hand in hand. When the chaos of the world places an unbearable weight on our shoulders, when division becomes prevalent, and when hatred seems constant, thankfulness can get lost in the fog. Before we know it, our hearts of gratitude begin to sink under the strain. But God knew life wouldn’t be easy. He knew there would be struggles. He knew there would be pain. He knew there would be heartache. Yet, His Word tells us: “Give thanks in everything.”The truth is, even in turbulent times, God’s grace still abounds. His mercies are new every morning, and His love is still everlasting. Today, let us give thanks in everything. From
